How can you spend your time when you are in Spain but the weather is sad and isn't perfect? ILet's take a walk in the city, discover its ugly and beautiful parts as well.
The city what we visited, is called Altea. If the weather was nice then we would lay on the beach instead of taking photos, visiting the old downtown, discovering an awesome confectionery and realizing the poor and sad condition of the buildings which are located direct behind the beach.
Mit illik tudni erről a kicsiny városról? Altea Alicante provinciában található Spanyolországban a Costa Blanca elnevezésű tengerpart szakaszon.
What you should know about this city? According to the information on the internet 'Altea is a town and municipality located in the province of Alicante, Spain, north of Alicante on the section of Mediterranean coast called the Costa Blanca. At present, the economy of Altea is based on tourism, which started to grow in the 1950s because of its good weather, beaches and the labyrinthine streets with whitewashed house-fronts that characterize the town. Altea is protected on the north by the bluffs of the Serra de Bèrnia, creating an especially mild microclimate. Its seafront esplanade is planted with palms.'
If you visit Altea I recommend you to eat in El Bodegon de Pepe. We ate an excellent paella and had good coffee. After our lunch small glasses of shot were served as gifts for everybody. We didn't eat dessert here, but it was okay, because we discovered a nice confectionery later.
Altea tengerpartja. A strand a hegy lába előtt terül el.
The coast of Altea.
Egy kis karácsonyi(nak tűnő) dekoráció. Kit zavar?
Christmas decoration?
Utcaművészet.
Streetart.
Little pool of rain. This is what nobody wants to see during the vacation.
Az óvárosba vezető út.
Small street which leads to the downtown.
You can see different types of door decoration as well.
Chain curtain is located in front of the entrance of a house in order to hinder bugs (people) to enter.
Visszatekintve a tenger felé.

Ráadásként még az eső is szemergett. Aki tehette, behúzódott a (nap)ernyők alá….
It was raining a bit, so people sat under the (beach) umbrellas...
The old city centre is cosy and quite small. We were lucky to 'be guests' on a Spanish wedding for a few minutes.
A templom kapuja (fent) és a főhajó (lent).
The gate (above) and the enterior (below) of the church.
It was strange that an old lady (I guess she works for the church) started to clean the signs of the wedding however the guest and the couple were still there….
A cukrászda neve De Sabros. A fenti desszert csodákon túl rendkívül finom a fagylaltjuk is (erről itt írtam), amiből (ahogy a jobb helyeken) rendelés előtt kis kanálkával kóstolót adtak.
The name of the sweet shop is De Sabros. Beyond the tasty desserts (above) their ice cream is great as well (you can read my post about it here). Prior to ordering ice cream we got small tasters of ice cream in order to get help choosing.
Kilátás az óvárosból a hegy irányába.
